Load Bearing. Take out what holds it up.
Leave one column empty. Fire the Collapse and every floor waiting on that column comes down at once. The well gets narrower. The next floor is a different job.
| Title | Load Bearing |
|---|---|
| Studio | DSST LLC |
| Directed by | Tim, a dad with a day job |
| QA | Mick, his brother |
| Genre | Falling-block roguelite. Single player, plus head to head against the foreman in one shared well. |
| A run | Ten floors. Each floor is a job: Lay the Foundation, Clear the Site, Controlled Demolition, Material Shortage, Load Path Survey, Lay the Slab, or Punch List. |
| The climb | Twenty Building Codes. Four foremen. Win a ten-floor run to certify the next code. |
| The move | The Collapse. One clear shaft, the banked rows clear together, and the well drops that column. It will not shrink below six. |
| The Fabricator | Between floors you draw your own piece, three to six cells on a 5 by 5 pad, and buy it into your deck. You can name it. A later run can buy that shape again for half the price. |
| Platforms | iPhone first, built for iPhone Duo, then iPad. Steam, including Windows and Steam Deck, and Android are planned. iPhone Duo, the phone, ships October 23, 2026. The game's release day is not set, and there is no public store page yet. Please link loadbearinggame.com. |
| Price | Not announced. |

Load Bearing is a game by DSST LLC. The blocks and the Collapse are drawn by the game's own code.
About the AI
Some of the foreman portraits, backgrounds, voices and music are AI-generated. The portraits on the site are those, and they are the ones in the game. Say so if you use them. If any of that art is replaced with human-made work, the site will say that too.
Three half-open iPhone Duo stills are up: the well and the pad, the city over the workshop menu, and the deck over the yard. Each one keeps the picture on the top screen and the controls on the bottom.
